It was 1944 when a group of three radiologists started ARA Health Specialists. X-ray technology was state-of-the art, and medical advancements were happening quickly on battlefields in Europe and the Pacific. It would be two decades before ultrasound technology was readily available and more than a decade before CT scans and MRIs were introduced into the market. But at every step in the evolution of medical imaging, ARA Health Specialists was at the forefront.
Today, we are western North Carolina’s preeminent multi-specialty practice. Our multidiscipline team includes board-certified radiologists, vascular surgeons, neurointerventional radiologists and the physician assistants and support personnel necessary to deliver exceptional service to every patient.
